fEBEA members promise to respect the following charter and from that moment in particular to : 

• commit to :
  • working to see that the economy helps people,
  • contributing to solidarity, social cohesion and sustainable development,
  • refusing exclusive financial gain,
  • supporting innovative initiatives from the social and environmental standpoint.
• be autonomous in the decision making process with regard to any organization or outside company.
• finance economic initiatives which strive towards the following goals :
  • job creation, in particular social employment;
  • sustainable development (renewable energies, organic farmin biodiversity) ;
  • international solidarity and fair trade.
• have total assets of at least one million euros.
• have its principal place of business in one of the Member States of the European Union or in the European free trade area, even if its activities are spread out in other countries.
• give transparent and complete information concerning its internal operations as regards the collection of savings and the utilisation of resources, with respect to  FEBEA. To transmit any useful information relating to its activities.
