bank for Social and Economic Initiatives is a Polish-French public joint stock company established in 1990 by the Polish Ministry of Employment and Social Policy and the French Credit Cooperatif Bank. Currently, Credit Cooperatif and Industrial Development Agency are BISE`s leading shareholders.

bISE core operations focus primarily on such customers as Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, public sector institutions, housing communities, foundations and associations. BISE products are designed to help its clients in achieving their statutory goals and promoting their projects. BISE development is based on its own experience as well as on the the experience of its French shareholder Credit Cooperatif.  For 70 years this French Bank has been operating in the Social Economy sector.
