 Fundació Un Sol Món (Sp) the Un Sol Món Foundation is a charitable organization founded by Caixa Catalunya in 2000 in Barcelona (Catalonia-Spain). Following the philosophy that inspires the foundations of the savings banks, Un Sol Món Foundation was created with the aim of providing financial assistance to the most disadvantaged and excluded groups in society.Our organization has two objectives. On one hand, it offers technical and financial assistance to programmes contributing to the development of Third World countries; on the other, it promotes projects supporting the social groups excluded from our society, what has been called Fourth World. A third objective is to increase our society’s awareness towards all situations of poverty, social exclusion and injustice.
