Athens (Greece) - On the 30th of May 2019, FEBEA held its Annual Conference dedicated to “Ethical finance and Impact entrepreneurship – leveraging community potential towards sustainability” , co-hosted by our local member Cooperative Bank of Karditsa. More than 120 ethical finance and social economy practitioners from more than 12 countries attended.
The conference allowed to explore how ethical finance can contribute to the development of local communities via fostering the development of impact entrepreneurship.
The ministry of economy, Mr. Yannis Dragasakis, opened the conference remarking the importance of cooperative banks and sustainable financial practices for the development of the real economy and the support to the communities, especially during crisis period.
